All those who love the smartphone technology always look for the best devices and constantly want to know which of the newest releases is the best. Therefore, a natural question is which smartphone is the best, the Samsung Galaxy S7 or the iPhone 6S? In order to answer this question, we will compare the both phones in order to see which one is better that the other. Therefore, read the article below and see which are the differences between Samsung Galaxy S7 and iPhone 6S.

Design

Both phones look amazing and although they follow the same design as their predecessors, they still have some improvements. Samsung Galaxy S7 is made of strong metal and glass. Nevertheless, the phone is few millimeters thicker due to the slight curvature in the back. This makes it more comfortable to hold without having to worry about slipping it out of hand. The S7 has a 5.1-inches screen and it measures 142.4 x 69.6 x 7.9mm. On the other hand, the iPhone 6S is similar to the iPhone 6, and the entire phone is enveloped with durable aluminum alloy. Moreover, it has curved edges which make it very attractive and what is new is that it has the addition of a rose gold color. The screen is a little bit smaller, namely, 4.7-inches and it measures 38.3 x 67.1 x 7.1mm.

Display

The display of the Samsung Galaxy S7 is very similar to the one used for the S6, which makes it sharper than the screen of the iPhone 6S. Due to the Super AMOLED technology the screen displays deeper and richer blacks, charging each pixel when it generates the colors. In comparison, the LCS technology used by the 6S lights up all pixels making the black looking pretty washed out. Nevertheless, the fact that the iPhone 6S has a smaller display and fewer pixels means that its speed performance is slightly increased. The iPhone 6S has a 750 x 1334 resolution, while the Samsung Galaxy S7 has a 1440 x 2560 resolution, making its display the best available.

Performance

The 6S finally made a boost and doubled the RAM to 2 GB which is coupled to the new dual-core A9 chip, making it run smoother. Nevertheless, this combo only matches the S6, thus giving the S7 the advantage in this category. The new Galaxy S7 comes with a 4GB RAM and Exynos 8890 octa-core or Snapdragon 820 quad-core CPU, making it very powerful. However, the RAM management and the multi-tasking functions are the best evidence of how well the iOS is optimized.

Camera

In what concerns the camera, both phones have a 12 MP snapper, but Samsung made an improvement in the optimization and hardware, making better shots in the dark. Also, both phones can record 4K videos, although the S7 provides optical image stabilization and a better front-facing camera. On the other hand, Apple has included the Live Photos new feature, which brings your photos to life for a short period of 1.5 seconds.
